'm addicted to archery. Ever since I shot in the summer rec programs of my youth, I have been hooked. In 1977, I was introduced to field archery and was hooked again and have been ever since. Field archery is my passion. Of all the different types of venues, field archery is what I enjoy the most.Two years ago, I was looking for ideas for a new release bow to replace my Ultimate X. I had some discussions with the guys at Elite Archery at the ATA show in 2010. I told them what qualities I thought my new bow should have. When they introduced the Tour, Pete Crawford called me and told me that "We built your bow".From the first time I shot it I knew it was what I was looking for, and when Pete suggested that they build it for me, I agreed instantly. I suggested that my bow should be more polished than the Tour with a shiny anodized riser and trim. It also sports my signature glossy 6 layer limbs.
